My name is Stu, and I live in Perth, in Western Australia. Right now, at the time of writing this, I am primarily a Jewellery making student, although this has recently helped me re-discover my love of drawing. I'll be putting up bits and pieces of jewellery, drawing, and maybe a few figures that I've painted.
Current Residence: Perth, Western Australia
Favourite genre of music: Metal of all kinds, some punk, some hardcore.
Favourite style of art: Mostly surrealism, anything a bit out of the ordinary

GRADUATE AUCTION TIME!

So the grad auction that i mentioned last entry is this week, so the last two days have been dedicated to sorting out the gallery, and getting all the curatorial stuff in order. Happy to say that its all looking good, all the work has been arranged and hung, and its now just a matter of adjusting the order in which everything is to be sold on the night. All the feedback from the rest of the class has been good, but i'll be glad when this is all over next week :P

Some cool, cool news

Pretty flat out with bits of work at the moment. Doing a lot of stuff for my Graduate class's mid year fundrasing auction, the cool news is that myself and another student will be curating the Auctions setup within the gallery! on top of that, the two of us will be doing the opening speech with all the thanks you's and all that stuff before the auction gets under way. This will be infront of about 350-400 or so people, including some of the biggest local artists and most important art collectors. The next couple months are going to be pretty full on.

Been a bit quiet lately, i know. Havent done any drawing in ages, which i've been trying to fix :P.
Headed back to school soon for my Graduate year of Jewellery, so i'll be smashing out some more awesome stuff soon.
